Volunteers assist with animal care by assisting with feeding, cleaning, and socialization activities. (Volunteers ages 16–17 need a signed youth waiver. Volunteers ages 15 and under must be accompanied by a legal guardian.)

Charlie’s Place Respite Center offers volunteer opportunities in cooking, gardening, music, arts and crafts, and exercise activities to help engage and support individuals.
Every Tuesday & Thursday | 9am-12pm

Volunteers assist with sorting and organizing donated food and clothing, while also welcoming and supporting residents who come in for assistance. (Orientation is required before you volunteer.)

Bring and share your talents in quilting, music, and more, or help with planned activities for the residents of Francois Bend. (Volunteers must be 14 years old or above.)

Help local families through hands-on service like sorting donations, assisting with pickups, or supporting community workdays. There are various volunteer roles to choose from.

Help Improve the quality of life of senior citizens in Gonzales and surrounding areas through meal distributions, socialization, event setup/pickup, and fun activities.
Volunteer Ascension takes a one-on-one approach to volunteering: help people and make a difference one person at a time. By focusing on this principle, we're able to form lifelong relationships with those we serve. We believe in partnering alongside individuals and walking with them through their most challenging and trying times. By doing so, we're able to create meaningful and lasting change in our community.
ConnecTeens has given me unforgettable summers of learning, friendship, and service. From retirement homes to Special Tuesdays, I've grown, led, and served with gratitude. Looking forward to its continued success!
