2023 Volunteer Ascension Annual Report
The 2023 annual report of Volunteer Ascension provides a comprehensive overview of our impact over the past year. We were able to achieve significant progress towards our mission of improving our community. Our programs and initiatives reached more people than ever before, and we continued to innovate and adapt to meet the changing needs of our community.
ConnecTeens Highlight
Celebrating our 20th year of the ConnecTeens Program, we've successfully matched youth aged 12-17 with agencies serving our community. To date, over 567 young volunteers have dedicated more than 11,000 hours, making a substantial impact.
Our collective impact from 1997 to 2022 is remarkable:
- School Supplies: Valued at over $774,000, assisting over 61,000 children, with 3,845 volunteers committing 9,975 hours.
- School Uniforms: Worth $723,530, benefiting over 19,000 children, with 859 volunteers dedicating 4,964 hours.
- ConnecTeens: Involving 567 local youth who've contributed 11,056 hours.
- Make a Difference Day: Engaging 5,337 volunteers who've committed 46,001 hours.
None of this would be possible without the support of our Funders, Corporate Sponsors, and Community Partners, who share our vision of helping those in need. We thank them for their dedication and generosity.
